He was a poet, a dramatist, a storyteller, an artist, a musician, a composer, a singer, an athlete, a dreamer of peace — in sum, an extraordinary individual whose inspiration overflowed into numerous creative endeavours. He was also a spiritual master, guiding seekers in the quest for self-discovery.

In everything Sri Chinmoy did, he expressed the essence of the human spirit and our dreams and hopes for a brighter future for all mankind.
