My heart needs only one freedom:
The freedom to dream.

A depressed heart
Means a confessed failure.

Because you are always depressed,
God has secretly told His choice children
That you are not a member
Of His inner Family.

The Hour of God
Mercilessly threatens the doubting mind
And
Measurelessly enlightens the aspiring heart.

O man of eloquence,
My mind sincerely admires you.

O man of silence,
My heart soulfully loves you.

The farther away I am from my inner hunger,
The greater is my outer insecurity.

Before you declare
That you have realised God,
Can you not tell the whole world
That God has truly and unconditionally
Loved your teeming ignorance?
Try it.
It may not be an easy task.

You tell God:
"My Lord, will You accept what I have for You —
My eternity's hunger-cry?"

God tells you:
"My child, will you accept what I have for you —
My Immortality's Feast-Smile?"

You live for yourself alone.
How do you then expect God to live with you
And any human being to die for you?

Alas,
My mind, the silly talker,
Has taken away all the wisdom-light
That I received from my Lord's
Silence-Eye.

Two souls
Meet to promise.

Two hearts
Meet to love.

Two minds
Meet to challenge.

The quicker
I unlearn,
The wiser
I become,
The better
I love
My Beloved Supreme.

An aspiring heart
Is the only secret-sharer
Of my sacred soul.

My Lord,
I do not want to carry the heavy burden
Of knowledge anymore.
I wish to carry the tiny briefcase
Of wisdom-delight
Which You have given me
As a blessingful gift.

Yesterday for the first time
I loved my searching mind.

Today for the first time
I am loving my crying heart.

Tomorrow for the first time
I shall love my smiling soul.

During the night
I stay with my old and mature friends:
Dreams.

During the day
I stay with my young and immature friends:
Realities.

A sacred heart-flower
Is a secret treasure-fruit
Of God.

A purity-heart
Never allows the waves of life
To become wild.

A surrender-heart
Is the safest island
In an unknown life-sea.

Secretly
My soul creates purity.

Openly
My heart enjoys it.

Secretly
My heart creates beauty.

Openly
My mind enjoys it.

A surrender-life
Means a continuous illumination.

A gratitude-heart
Means a spontaneous perfection.

The outer world thinks
That I am a devouring tiger.

The inner world knows
That I am a roaring lion.

Man thinks
That I am in no way superior
To any wild animal.

God knows
That I am in no way inferior
To any cosmic god.

Self-awareness
And
Conscious oneness with God
Are not
Two different things.

My heart's inner examination
Determines
My life's outer perfection.

Self-giving
Means a glorious success.

God-becoming
Means a stupendous progress.

My own gratitude-heart
Is all that matters.

Detachment
Is man's never-failing smile

If you want your soul
To be truly proud of you,
Then every day challenge
The giant pride
Of impossibility.

I do not want to know
What has made your mind
Exceptionally great.
But I do want to know
What has made your heart
Soulfully pure.

Look,
The entire world is in favour
Of your becoming another God.

I pray
So that I can play
With my Lord's Compassion-Eye
Every day at least for an hour.

I pray
So that I can become
An illumining ray
Of my Lord Supreme
In His Task
Of world-transformation.

I pray
So that I do not remain
An unaspiring, meaningless
And useless
Lump of clay.

I pray
So that every day
I can celebrate
As God's Victory-Day
Inside my gratitude-heart.

I pray
So that my Lord's Way
Becomes my way,
My only way.

I pray
So that I can realise
That God-Compassion
And God-Forgiveness
Pay my wages
For my aspiration and dedication
Infinitely more than I deserve.

I pray
So that I do not have to delay
When the final hour strikes
For the complete transformation
Of my human nature.

I pray
So that I do not allow
The sword of my impurity-mind
To slay my purity-heart.

I pray
So that my mind of complexity
Can stay
Inside my heart of simplicity
Which is nothing other
Than visible divinity on earth.

I pray
So that I never betray
My ever-indulgent
Compassion-Lord Supreme.

I pray
So that every day I can feel
The same joy
As I feel on my birthday.
Then every day
I can make a soulful promise
To become a choice instrument
Of my Lord Supreme,
As I do on my birthday.

I pray
So that I never
Become disheartened
While I essay to bring about
The complete transformation
Of my nature.

I pray
So that I can compel
My earth-bound mind
To obey
My Heaven-free soul.

I pray
So that I do not
Give up working
On my nature's transformation
Only halfway
As many ill-fated seekers do.

I pray
So that I do not doubt
When my heart is eager
To convey
Blessingful messages to me
From my Beloved Supreme.

I pray
So that my Lord examines me
Every day with His X-ray
To see if my mind is assailed
By dark doubts.

I pray
So that my heart's
Aspiration-tree
And my soul's
Manifestation-plant
Never decay.

I pray
So that I do not become a prey
To ignorance-sea
Even in my unconscious moments
And unconscious movements.

I pray
So that I do not disobey
My sweet Lord
Even when my impure vital,
My dark mind
And my insecure heart
Torture me ruthlessly.

I pray
So that every day I can offer
A new surrender-heart
And a new gratitude-life
To my Beloved Supreme.

I pray
So that my heart's faith-sword
Can easily slay
The haughty heads
Of my shameless doubts.

I pray
So that my aspiration-heart
And my dedication-life
Can weigh measureless weights.

I pray
So that every day
I can relay the message
Of my Lord's Victory-Day

I pray
So that I do not lose
The fragrance of my heart's
Security-perfume.

I pray
So that every day
I can enjoy the feast
Of God-manifesting possibilities.

I pray
So that I can
Completely erase
The failure-life of centuries.

I pray
So that every seeker's faith
May return
From its mind-exile.

I pray
So that every day
I can tell the world
That the taste
Of God's Compassion-Biscuit
Is by far the best.

I pray
So that every day
I can see a hope-bud
Blossoming inside my heart.

I pray
So that every day
My inner life
Remains alarmed
And my outer life
Remains unharmed.

I pray
So that like God, I too
Will never remain
Unemployed.

I pray
So that I remember
That a life of relaxation
Can never escape the torture
Of unmistakable taxation.

I pray
So that God
Does not give me
An undeserved inner promotion.

I pray
So that the perfection
Of my dream-world
And the aspiration
Of my reality-world
Do not collide.

I pray
So that every day
I can see my Beloved Supreme
Watering my heart's faith-plant
With His Infinity's Compassion-Eye.

I pray
So that every day
I can confide in my soul,
My confidence-counsellor.

I pray
So that I can forget
Even the very existence
Of my former employer:
Ignorance.

I pray
So that every day
The seeker-traveller in me
Walks only on truth-trail.

I pray
So that every day
The vision-musician in me
And the perfection-music in me
Remain extremely fond
Of each other.

I pray
So that my Beloved Supreme
Keeps my doubting mind
Out of service,
Even temporarily.

I pray
So that every day
I can see and feel
The oneness
Between my aspiration
And my Lord's Satisfaction.

I pray
So that I can synchronise
My heart's inner choice
With my life's outer voice.

I pray
So that I can soon see
The complete collapse
Of my unbearably tall
Self-image.

I pray
So that my doubtful mind
Does not dare to forge
My faithful heart's signature.

I pray
So that my invisible soul
Can secretly make
My visible heart invincible

I pray
So that I can learn
That my self-reproach
Is by no means God-approach.

I pray
So that my Beloved Supreme
And I together
Whistle our sweet and fond
Oneness-song.
