Australia

On his first visit to Australia in 1976, Sri Chinmoy created paintings and drawings and gifted them to each of the Centres he visited — seven acrylic paintings for Perth, seven chalk sketches for Sydney, seven ballpoint pen ink drawings for Melbourne, and four acrylic paintings and six ballpoint pen ink drawings for Adelaide. At other times, Sri Chinmoy’s Jharna-Kala artworks were purchased in New York, or elsewhere in the world, and now reside in Centres like Brisbane and Geelong, or are held in private collections within Australia.
