Sri Chinmoy watches the morning 2-mile Self-Transcendence Race in Solo, Indonesia.

Before the race, Sri Chinmoy offers the following prayer:

Two kings: the inner and the outer.
The outer king prays to the inner King
For power, boundless power.
The inner King says to the outer king,
“My child, not power,
But light, light, light!”
The outer king says to the inner King,
“My Father Lord Supreme,
How can I be like You?”
The inner King says to the outer king,
“My child, love Me, pray to Me,
Surrender to Me and claim Me.
You are bound to realise that
Who I am and what I am
You already are in the inner world.”
