Sri Chinmoy offers a Peace Concert, in honour of Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, at Teatro Guimera in Santa Cruz, the Canary Islands’ most prestigious concert hall. The same day, Sri Chinmoy composes a song dedicated to The Gorbachev Foundation, which is sung at the concert in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
