Weightlifting Prayer

by Sri Chinmoy

My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!
Please, please bless me
With a perfection-searching mind,
Perfection-aspiring mind,
Perfection-loving mind
And perfection-living mind.
My Supreme, my Supreme, my Supreme!

Sri Chinmoy offers this prayer at 7:48 a.m. before lifting 270 lbs. with both arms simultaneously three times. (Total: 540 lbs.).
