Sri Chinmoy competes in the field events at Sports Day at Roy Wilkins Park, Jamaica, Queens, New York. He throws the 600-gm javelin 19.95 metres, the 1-kg discus 20.31 metres and the 2-kg discus 12.55 metres, as well as posting a distance of 7.50 metres for the 4-kg shotput.
